Taipei, Taiwan – January 09, 2014 – AVer (TWSE:3669), a major global provider of presentation/education solutions, security surveillance solutions and video conferencing solutions is pleased to announce attendance at the upcoming BETT exhibition, held from the 22 - 25 January 2014 at the Excel in London.
AVer’s primary focus will be around demonstrating the latest in presentation and video conferencing technology for the education market, including BETT 2014 award finalist, TabCam. Also on display will be the AVer TabSync charging cart and the AVer ClassHD video conferencing solution. With an education-themed classroom backdrop, AVer will be joined by an array of video conferencing content providers, who will be on hand to talk guests through the benefits of video conferencing in schools and illustrate exactly how these products are tailor-made for the expected increase in the use of technology in the classroom. Visitors can also hear first-hand accounts of AVer’s success in this area, with children from pilot schools on hand to talk about their experiences with video conferencing and the new opportunities it has afforded them.
Leading the line-up of new products to be showcased at BETT is AVer’s innovative TabCam, a lightweight and portable wireless camera with an app that allows educators to stream live video from textbooks, presentations, experiments and more directly to tablets (iOS and Android) used in a classroom. TabCam enables teachers to fully customize and record video with digital ink, narration and photos to improve clarity and keep students engaged. Lessons can even be recorded for later use or shared via social media sites such as YouTube and Facebook. Accompanying TabCam is TabSync, a secure sync and charge cart for up to 32 iPads or other tablets, allowing this equipment to be safely stored, charged and synchronised to smooth transition to the classroom. AVer’s TabCam has been chosen as a finalist in the BETT 2014 awards for the ICT tools for teaching and learning category.
AVer ClassHD is a cost-effective video conferencing solution aimed specifically at UK schools. AVer ClassHD has already been rolled out under a pilot scheme that saw classrooms linked to other schools around the world, allowing children to benefit from the experience of different cultures and different forms of learning. Delivered with full on-site installation and curriculum support, AVer’s aim is to enhance opportunities in the classroom with a VC solution that is fully embedded into the curriculum and fully complies with recent guidelines from the Department of Education for the use of such systems.
“After a very successful trial and some great feedback, we’re delighted to have the opportunity to showcase ClassHD, and of course our innovative TabCam and TabSync, at the upcoming BETT show next year,” said Nigel Roberts, Marketing Manager of AVer. “We’re really excited to be at the forefront of an increasing interest in the use of technology such as video conferencing and tablets in classrooms, and can’t wait to show our visitors exactly how beneficial this can be for both teachers and children”. AVer will be in attendance for the duration of BETT 2014 and you can find them at Hall/Stand: E230.
