Taipei, Taiwan – January 15, 2016 – AVer Information has released several new firmware upgrades to expand and strengthen the functionality of its video conferencing solution. Covering AVer’s EVC series video conferencing systems and EZMeetup software, these upgrades provide even more versatile tools for presentations, conferencing and content sharing.
AVer’s upgraded EVC series systems allow users to share content from their personal computers via the ScreenShare app even when not in a call, useful for giving presentations to people in the same location. EVC series systems can also now connect with voice-only SIP devices, allowing users to reach even more partners and colleagues. In addition, the preset function’s camera movements have been sped up so the camera can better keep up when a meeting’s focus changes, and multipoint systems can save up to 100 preset positions. Point-to-point EVC system users can now also download their online phonebook using WebTool, avoiding the hassle of manually entering contacts into their system.
AVer’s EZMeetup software has also been upgraded to enable more powerful presentations, with Mac users now able to share content, record conference sessions and capture images of conferences, as well as enjoy vivid full HD 1080p video resolution. Android users also benefit from the added ability to share up to 10 images downloaded from Dropbox, Google Drive or the internet.
