AVer releases the latest versions of its iViewer and AndroidViewer remote surveillance mobile apps

Taipei, Taiwan – January 14, 2013 – AVer (TWSE:3669), a major global provider of presentation/education solutions, security surveillance solutions and video conferencing solutions, has released enhanced versions of AVer iViewer and AndroidViewer mobile access applications. iViewer, designed for Apple iPhones and iPads, and AndroidViewer, designed for Android phones and tablets, allow users to remotely access AVer DVRs/NVRs and AVer IP cameras to preview real-time video or playback captured images anytime, anywhere.

These free applications are useful for monitoring both small- and large-scale surveillance systems, as users can access up to 32 camera channels and view up to 4 channels at once. Through PTZ control, users can track objects and people in real-time, freely focusing on areas of interest. With sensor and relay control, users can stay up-to-date with the current security situation at sites and react immediately when security issues arise. An authorization mechanism ensures connection safety and protects users’ privacy, while the address book function and savable profiles make connecting to desired camera sites simple, fast and convenient.

“In today’s dynamic and competitive economic environment, it is crucial to have control over a company’s operations around the clock, that’s why we provide our users with tools like iViewer and AndroidViewer. These apps allow them to better protect their businesses by keeping pace with rapidly changing conditions, while still retaining full mobility.” declared Andy Hsi, Vice President of AVer Information Inc.

iViewer and AndroidViewer mobile access applications are designed for use with AVer IP surveillance products, and are available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
