AVer smart IP surveillance solution hits the market with E5016 NVR & CM5000 CMS premiere

Taipei, Taiwan – September 3, 2013 – AVer (TWSE: 3669), a major global provider of presentation/education solutions, security surveillance solutions and video conferencing solutions, reveals its latest smart IP surveillance solution, consisting of the all-new E5016 full HD NVR, complimentary CM5000 central management system and a rapidly growing range of IP cameras (network cameras). The new solution achieves unmatched performance and reliability, as well as seamless integration and user interface standardization, to lower the system’s learning curve and enhance monitoring effectiveness.

The brand new 16CH full HD NVR E5016 features PC-like preview performance (2M @ 120fps) and impressive recording capabilities with 120 Mbps throughput rate. E5016 also supports expandable storage via its 4 removable disk trays with internal RAID functionality (levels 0,1)* and e-SATA for external disk array connection. Moreover, each E5016 offers direct integration with up to 5 point-of-sales (POS) machines, eliminating the need for additional data processing appliances. This high performance NVR is bundled with a suite of free remote control software including central management software (CM5000) and applications for mobile devices (iViewer & AndroidViewer). CM5000, AVer’s newest CMS, allows users to assume direct control over up to 16 DVRs/NVRs and remotely change settings, preview and playback video. More advanced features like alarm center and schedule backups are coming soon.

The graphical user interface (GUI) has been completely standardized for local site (NVR) and remote site (CMS) access, reducing training time and related costs. What’s more, thanks to complete integration with AVer IP cameras, users can change all camera settings directly via the NVR or CMS*. This goes beyond basic settings, like stream resolution or IP address, to include advanced, camera-embedded functions like Region of Interest, Smart Stream and motorized focus / zoom (MFZ)*.

“Superior reliability and performance in a surveillance system is achieved only through full integration between recorders, cameras and software. AVer’s new smart IP surveillance solution accomplishes this goal and more”, said President of AVer Information Inc. Andy Hsi. “AVer products do not just ‘work well together’; they create a synergy and produce a considerable value for both systems integrators and end users alike.”
