There are relevant specifications and standards for cable length when it comes to USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 standards:

USB 2.0 Standard:
In the USB 2.0 specification, it is recommended to use a maximum cable length of 5 meters without employing passive extenders or cables.
The specification states that if a longer cable length is required, active extenders or USB 2.0 signal boosters should be used.

USB 3.0 Standard:
In the USB 3.0 specification, the recommended maximum cable length is 3 meters without using passive extenders or cables.
The specification indicates that if a longer cable length is needed, active extenders or USB 3.0 signal boosters should be used.

It's important to note that these specifications and standards are developed based on considerations of safety and performance. Using cables longer than the recommended length could lead to issues such as signal distortion, reduced transmission speed, and device malfunctions. Therefore, when selecting cables, it's advisable to adhere to these specifications and standards as much as possible to ensure the proper functioning of the devices.

This color issue may occur if you're using an older monitor or connecting via an HDMI-to-DVI adapter. In such cases, the monitor's RGB color format may not be compatible with the camera's HDMI output color format (YUV).

To resolve this, try connecting directly with HDMI if possible, or change the monitor's input color format setting from RGB to YUV.
The IR frequency is 38KHz. In fact, we adhere to the NEC standard. The standard NEC protocol uses a carrier frequency of 38 kHz.

According to Barco official definition:
Separate mics and speakers not supported.

ClickShare Conference only supports speakerphone devices, which contain both microphones and speakers in one peripheral. Separate microphones (e.g. in cameras) or USB speakers are not supported.

Some devices (e.g. the Cisco Room Kit mini) do not expose a speakerphone, but a separate speaker and microphone on one USB endpoint. This works too, as long as the device can do echo-cancellation.

Sound jacks and HDMI audio on the Base Unit are un-usable (to eliminate any chance of acoustic echo). They are grayed out on the configuration interface as soon as USB is displayed.

We have tried 3 NDI clients (PC) getting stream from a PTZ310N, and it lasted for over 7 days working well. Please also try updating NDI SDK to the latest version, and would recommend having an i7 equipped PC, keeping the total CPU utilization process lower than 60% to get stable NDI stream on vMix)

  • We tried multiple ppl speak at the same time using TCC2 and PTZL and to be honest, it's quite noisy. But if user would like to prevent other interruption from the main speaker, take TCC2 as an example, it is suggested to turn on the “Priority Mode" on TCC2 cockpit app, so other interruption won't damage the main lecturer.

  • Another possibility regarding the use case of “2 to 3 ppl talking simultaneously" could be person b accidentally starts to talk and interrupt person a but person b might stops as he/she noticed the disruption of the previous speech. Therefore, if the use case is like this, meaning the conversation is highly interactive, and people tend to interrupt quite often but we do not want the camera to be too sensitive and keeps shifting to different presets, then it is suggested to choose longer timer at the “Time to trigger Preset".

  • e.g. if Time to trigger Preset is set at 3 sec and a speaker has talked longer than 3 seconds, the camera will move to the preset of that speaker. However, if a speaker has talked less than 3 seconds, the camera will stay at the previous one.

You can set up a maximum of 5 groups of devices in PTZ Link.
For example, when there are two microphones and one camera in the room. You can set two microphones into two groups accordingly, and every 9 channels of one microphone can be matched up to different preset points of the Camera. There are up to 256 preset points of one AVer camera that are available. To make sure the audio tracking functions well, each group has to be enabled and the software is kept running.
